We offer an educational project that nurtures curiosity, independence and play as the driving force of learning.
El Cargol nursery school is an early-childhood educational centre with a living pedagogy and a project designed to support our children from 0 to 3 years of age in every area of their development. It is privately owned and recognised by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya under number 08052104.
Our centre works to make family and work life easier, offering children and their families a space for growth and trust — a rich, welcoming environment where love and care come before everything else. We have a stable, committed team full of initiative: a team eager to create a safe and welcoming environment and to support every child as they grow.
We have a privileged outdoor space that allows us to organise outings, discovery activities and moments of play in the open air. The park becomes an educational resource that complements the work of the centre and offers children an ideal environment to explore, observe and learn in contact with nature.
We offer flexibility so that every family can enrol their child whenever they need to. Our centre keeps enrolment open throughout the year so we can adapt to each situation and make access to our educational project easier.
We are a school where Catalan, Spanish and English coexist naturally. We work on multilingual communication from earliest childhood so that children become familiar with different languages through play, daily routines and their everyday surroundings.
We offer a varied methodology built around play to make learning real and useful — listening to and getting to know the children in order to understand their interests and adapt to their needs.
We have play areas and materials adapted to children’s different ages and needs, in order to develop their independence and self-sufficiency as fully as possible.
We support and accompany families in their children’s education, seeking consistency between home and school, nurturing mutual trust and ensuring high-quality, participatory communication.
We have our own kitchen where we prepare all the children’s meals every day. We offer balanced, high-quality food based on fresh, seasonal produce.
Common areas are welcoming spaces that encourage togetherness, communication and relationships among the children. They are designed for sharing, self-expression and taking part in activities that strengthen the sense of community in a safe and comfortable environment.
Outdoor areas offer a safe, natural environment where children can play, explore and move freely. They are designed to encourage movement, curiosity and contact with the surroundings, always under the attentive supervision of our staff.
The rooms are organised environments adapted to each developmental stage. They offer play and learning settings that allow children to explore, create and grow at their own pace, in bright, calm spaces that ensure safety and wellbeing.
