Treballem a través de diverses metodologies d’ensenyament-aprenentatge amb l’objectiu de crear diversos espais i activitats on l’acompanyament i el respecte pels processos de vida dels infants sigui el motor d’aprenentatge de l’escola. Aquestesmetodologies ens permeten el desenvolupament de la seguretat en un mateix o en una mateixa i potencien l’esperit investigador que tenen tots els infants de manera natural.
Els nostres tallers són una oportunitat per treballar noves propostes de materials o d’activitats., estan basats en entorns rics amb propostes diverses que ajuden a estimular el desenvolupament global dels infants, ja que oferim situacions d’aprenentatges en els quals el joc és l’activitat principal. Aquestes activitats proposades possibiliten experiències diverses dirigides al desenvolupament de determinades capacitats dels infants. Aquests tallers proposats responen a les demandes o necessitats detectades i es plantegen com a activitats a través de materials o accions més pautades. Sempre treballem des d’un enfocament experimental i manipulatiu, creiem que l’infant ha de treballar i manipular els diferents materials i descobrir el món a través de la seva pròpiaactivitat. Aquests tallers van evolucionant i canviant al llarg del curs, segons les necessitats dels infants.
Tots els tallers que realitzem ajuden a relacionar-nos amb els companys, fomentant la sociabilització i la col·laboració; ajuda a adquirir hàbits i fomentar l’autonomia de l’infant; ajuda a desenvolupar l’atenció, l’observació, la capacitat d’anàlisi i la memòria.
A la llar d’infants prioritzem l’aprenentatge per projectes, entenent aquest com un mètode de treball globalitzador que pretén que siguin els mateixos infants els protagonistes dels seus aprenentatges a través d’activitats vivencials on la descoberta, l’experimentació i la manipulació siguin els eixos de les propostes que oferim. Gràcies a aquesta metodologia els infants es fan responsables del seu propi aprenentatge: aprenen a pensar per ells mateixos, a investigar i aprendre dels seus errors i encerts, ajuda a fomentar la imaginació i la creativitat a més de l’enginy i del pensament abstracte.
Deixem de banda activitats com realitzar fitxes, que substituïm per la descoberta de materials diversos de manera lliure, per tal de poder respectar el ritme de cada infant i les seves necessitats.
Un altre aspecte molt important a la nostra llar d’infants és oferir al llarg del curs diverses sortides i visites fora del centre, ja que ens permet desenvolupar un aprenentatge més actiu, vivencial i engrescador pels infants. L’objectiu d’aquestes sortides és conèixer l’entorn, ja que la realitat que ens envolta ens proporciona els elements complementaris a la tasca educativa diària i moltes vegades és el punt de partida a l’hora de desenvolupar la programació de l’aula.
Les sortides també ens serveixen per aprendre a estar en tots llocs, sigui en un teatre, enmig de la natura, visitant un museo o escolant una audició.
A la nostra escola, les festes i celebracions són eines clau per arrelar els infants a la cultura popular i les tradicions, tant locals com globals. Mitjançant contes, música i experimentació, els petits viuen festivitats com la Castanyada o el Nadal, a més de propostes europees vinculades al projecte d’anglès. Aquests moments ens permeten crear llaços significatius amb tota la comunitat educativa, fomentant persones més participatives i compromeses amb la societat.
El treball d’hàbits és una part molt important del dia a dia de la llar d’infants, ja que són unes pautes i rutines que ajuden als infants a estructurar-se i a orientar-se. L’adquisició dels diferents hàbits els permet ser més autònoms i fa possible que hi hagi una millor convivència entre els infants.
Aquests hàbits s’han de treballar a casa i a l’escola i per tant ha de ser una tasca compartida entre família i escola, ja que a mesura que es van assolint els infants es senten més segurs, més tranquils i amb ganes d’aprendre.
